Technical Information Security Officer (TISO)

Our consultants do more than write recommendations. They implement, optimize, and deliver measurable results. That is why we are looking for a Technical Information Security Officer (TISO) who goes beyond policies and audits.
Someone who understands technical risks, thinks like an attacker, and helps organizations continuously improve their security maturity.
As a TISO, you act as the technical trusted advisor for clients, architects, security engineers, and management teams. You bridge the gap between strategy and technology, translating security objectives into practical and effective measures.
You will provide advise on:

AI governance and responsible AI adoption

Cloud, infrastructure, and application security

Digital workplace and endpoint security
-
Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust
-
Security architecture and secure-by-design principles
-
Threat, vulnerability, and exposure management
-
Security operations, monitoring, and incident response
-
Risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
-
Improving organizational cyber resilience and security maturity
You can easily switch between strategic discussions with CISOs and IT Managers and deep technical analyses of topics such as Conditional Access, security configurations, and cloud infrastructures.

Salary between €5.500,- and €8.000,- gross per month (based on a 40-hour work week);

Key Responsibilities
-
Support the execution of technical risk assessments within cloud and hybrid environments;
-
Collaborate with technical teams to identify vulnerabilities and advise on mitigating controls;
-
Conduct security reviews;
-
Assess cloud architectures and new IT solutions against security best practices;
-
Implement and optimize Zero Trust, IAM, and technical security controls;
-
Perform security design reviews and apply Security by Design principles;
-
Translate security policies into technical standards and controls;
-
Support ISO 27001, NEN 7510, BIO, and audit initiatives;
-
Analyze threats, attack vectors, and penetration testing findings;
-
Advise on system hardening, monitoring, and detection capabilities;
-
Support security incident response activities and post-incident analyses;
-
Work alongside SOC, Red Team, and Blue Team specialists;
-
Act as the bridge between the CISO function, security governance, and technical implementation.
Your Strengths
(required/Preferred)
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field;
-
Minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity or information security;
-
Experience as a TISO, Security Consultant, Security Engineer, or Security Architect;
-
Experience working in complex Enterprise environments;
-
Strong communication skills and proven stakeholder management experience at both technical and executive levels;

You are proficient in Dutch, both spoken and written;
-
You understand how to apply security frameworks and regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS Controls, BIO, NEN 7510, and GDPR, and can translate these into practical security measures that deliver measurable business value.
Certifications
Preferably, you hold one or more relevant certifications, such as:

SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, or AZ-104
-
CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GSEC
